Although known in the mainstream as the author of Hollywood
Babylon,
Kenneth Anger doubles as an underground film maker. Since 1947, he's
completed
nine short films, collectively known as the MAGICK LANTERN
CYCLE, which will be shown in two programs 9/2-29 at Box Higashi Nakano.
Tennessee Williams called it "The most exciting use of cinema I have
seen."
